Elderwood Administrative Services, LLC, a large senior & pediatric post-acute healthcare services provider, is recruiting a Senior Accountant.    Senior Accountant is a position suitable for accountants with 5 or more years of experience working in general ledger accounting. Accountants will perform month-end closing tasks, making entries in the general ledger and ultimately generating financial statements for their assigned healthcare facilities. After completing month-end close, accountants will reconcile balance sheet accounts, monitoring and troubleshooting variances and inaccuracies. Senior Accountants are assigned more complex areas, where they will use their experience and knowledge to gain an understanding of the underlying business activities and take action to ensure proper revenue/expense recognition.   Applicants must be capable of working remotely, using technology such as messaging applications and video screenshares to collaborate with colleagues.
