RN Position Overview:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) assists in ensuring the general health and well-being of assigned individuals by providing direct nursing care. Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing assessing, and evaluating the care of individuals to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times. RN’s monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel and assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet the physical, psychosocial and developmental needs of the individual in accordance with established nursing practices and the requirements of the policies and procedures of the organization in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.
RN Shift Options:
- Part-Time (2 12-hour shifts/week)
- Day Shift (6:45 a.m.-7:15 p.m.) (weekends only)
- Night Shift (6:45 p.m.-7:15 a.m.) (weekends only)

CNA Training Track (Support Aide) Overview:
- Elderwood's CNA Training course will last for three weeks, Monday to Friday from 7:30a-3:30p (times may vary slightly). Until you are officially slotted for training, you will be designated on a specific shift as a Trainee.
- Once in the course - the first two weeks are classroom training; third week will be the clinical portion.
- Once you pass, your status (and pay) will be adjusted from Support Aide to CNA.
- Elderwood will pay for the CNA certification test as well as any applicable onboarding requirements, including but not limited to PPD and Physical for eligible candidates.
- Training is PAID - you will be clocked in during training hours and get paid while you train.
Registered Nurse (RN) - Nursing Supervisor Position Overview:
- The Nursing Supervisor assists with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by being responsible for nursing care rendered at the facility during the assigned shift, supervision of nursing personnel of each unit, and other additional duties assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.

Elderwood at Grand Island is seeking a Memory Care Program Specialist with excellent communication and customer service skills. This is a full time position, and requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
Position Overview:
- Provides therapeutic and social programming to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents, under the direction of the Director of Activities with assistance from the Director of Memory Care. Responsible for input and completion of daily memory care calendar, resident participation reviews, daily attendance forms, monthly progress reports and assistance with meal service, as requested.
