Dishwasher team members assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of our residents by supporting dietary services in the safe and hygienic delivery of meals. Carries out dish room activities of clearing, soaking, scraping, washing, air drying, and putting away china and utensils used in serving and preparation of food; completes other assigned duties in kitchen areas. Shift is 4:30p-8p Monday thru Friday and weekends.
Carries out the clearing, scraping and putting of dishes and utensils in dishmachine, and the emptying of dishmachine and putting away of dishes after being air dried.
Cleans dishmachine, sinks and counters; removes all garbage from work area and the entire kitchen.
Keeps work area equipment clean and in good condition.
Disposes garbage properly in the receptacle located outside of building.
Mops floors in work area after each meal.
Takes tray carts to floors for meals.
Picks up and empties tray carts after meals.
Replenishes soap for sinks and detergent for dishmachine as needed.
