    CNA - Memory Care Responsibilities:

    Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Memory Care Program Staff team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing resident-related support services as well as therapeutic and social programming to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents. 

     

    The hours for this CNA Memory Care position are 8:30-4:30 and 15 hours per week.

    Qualifications

    • Eighteen (18) years of age required.

    • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

    • Registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry required.

    • Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property.

    • Experience with dementia population desired.

    • Ability to verbally communicate well with residents; families or agents; team mates and other departments required.

    • Ability to read and understand task assignments, and to report verbally and record care in writing required.

    • Display of genuine concern for the elderly; a dependable, patient and compassionate attitude towards residents required.

    • Demeanor always respectful of residents' rights and wishes required.

    • Ability to cooperate with others and to follow directions required. Physical stamina for constant activity required.

    • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
