    Administrative Assistant - Front Desk  PART TIME

    Hours:  M-F 12pm-5pm


    Elderwood Administrative Services is currently seeking a professional, energetic, Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in downtown Buffalo (Larkinville area).

    This position involves administrative duties encompassing several departments. In addition, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for the coordination of administrative office functions, and special projects.

    • Greet and provide support to all visitors consistent with our Mission and ICARE Values
    • Answer phones and forward messages received to general delivery mailbox; transfer incoming calls as appropriate
    • Update and maintain credentialing files for medical providers, multiple staff listings organization-wide, as well as preparing several monthly reports and ad hoc reports/presentations as requested
    • Support internal external communications as needed.
    • Order supplies for office and employee breakroom
    • Download funds into postage meter and order supplies for meter when low
    •  Provide assistance with mailing/shipping/receiving
    • Assist with travel arrangements as requested.
    • Assist in scheduling of meeting rooms, conference calls, and with corporate event coordination
    • Provide assistance with assembly of materials needed for submission of contracts
    • Provide additional administrative support as needed




    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Preferred business education or associates degree.
    • Must have two (2) years as an Administrative Assistant preferably in a health care setting.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office including MS Word and Excel.
    • Highly organized in processing, filing, composing a variety of business documents, reception and researching, compiling and summarizing data for reports.
    • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
    • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required. Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
