The primary purpose of the job is to provide recreational activities for residents by assisting in planning, conducting, evaluation and participating in one on one and group activity programs. To provide each of the residents ADL care and services, if necessary, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your supervisor in accordance with the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred
Artistic background or previous instruction from a certified activity consultant
Ability to lead group programs
Ability to work independently or part of a group.
Effectively communicates with others
At least 21 years of age
