    Elderwood at Waverly is currently seeking an Outpatient Billing Clerk to join our growing team! 

     

    Our campus serves the twin tiers region offering a continuum of care focused on senior health and wellness.  Our beautifully updated 202 bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) serves seniors in need of subacute rehabilitation, long term care (LTC), secure memory care, and respite care.  Our campus also offers Assisted and Enriched living apartments, an Adult Medical Day Services program, and an Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic.

    Responsibilities

    • Good typing skills, data entry experience.High school level math skills, experience in cash and checking account reconciliation necessary.
    •  
    • Personal qualities of trustworthiness and integrity required.
    •  
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
    •  
    • Pleasing personality and ability to effectively handle contact with residents, staff and public required.
    •  
    • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.

    Qualifications

    Assists Business Office Manager in establishing and maintaining Resident Accounts and handling daily transactions; processes petty cash transactions of the facility as assigned; processes physician and pharmacy billing as directed; answers phones and prepares and maintains business office correspondence and reports.
