Class will start July 31st - August 21st. This training course will last for three weeks and run from 7am-3pm. The course is free to take but is an unpaid training. We will have TABES testing for the class. This is required for entry into the program. Once accepted into the class, the student will need to obtain a physical and PPD by their primary physicsian and submit it no later then 1 week prior to the start of class. At the completion of the course Elderwood will pay for the CNA certification test as well as any applicable onboarding requirements including but not limited to PPD and Physical for eligible candidates who are offered positions with Elderwood.
Nursing Assistant Trainee team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by participating as a student in a Nursing Assistant 100-Hour Training Program and completing certification within 120 hours of training start date.
1.Eighteen (18) years of age required. Successful completion of program required entrance testing and application process.
2. No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agency.
