CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant
Elderwood at Cheektowaga | Cheektowaga, NY
At Elderwood at Cheektowaga, CNAs do more than complete a list of daily tasks. You are often the person who notices the small changes, provides reassurance during a difficult day, helps someone regain confidence, and makes sure residents feel known, respected, and comfortable.
We are seeking kind, dependable, and collaborative Certified Nursing Assistants to provide hands-on care in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. Whether you are beginning your CNA career or bringing years of experience, you can build meaningful relationships, strengthen your clinical observation skills, and contribute to a team where communication and accountability matter.

Elderwood at Cheektowaga is a 172-bed skilled nursing community serving long-term residents, individuals with memory-care needs, and short-stay rehabilitation patients transitioning from hospital to home.
Our clinical teams care for individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, orthopedic procedures, and cardiac conditions. Facility capabilities include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound-vac therapy, complex wound and ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination.
As a CNA, you will not be responsible for performing licensed-nursing treatments. You will play an essential role in the care team by assisting with daily needs, observing and reporting changes, supporting mobility and recovery goals, and communicating closely with nurses and rehabilitation professionals.
This is a strong environment for CNAs who want exposure to a clinically active post-acute setting while developing the observation, communication, and resident-care skills that create a strong foundation for continued healthcare growth.
A CNA position can be both meaningful work today and the beginning of a longer healthcare career. At Elderwood, CNAs gain valuable experience working directly with residents, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and clinical leaders. Tuition-reimbursement programs are available to help eligible employees pursue additional education and future opportunities.
Whether you want to become a stronger and more experienced CNA or eventually pursue a career as an LPN, RN, educator, or nurse leader, Elderwood offers an environment where your growth can be recognized and supported.
Elderwood at Cheektowaga offers a convenient healthcare opportunity for CNAs throughout Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Depew, Lancaster, Sloan, South Buffalo, and Buffalo’s eastern neighborhoods.
Located near I-90 and accessible from Route 33 and other major local corridors, the facility may also be within a practical commute of Lackawanna, Williamsville, Amherst, Clarence, Elma, Alden, Orchard Park, and surrounding Erie County communities.
CNA work is active, hands-on, and deeply important. The right candidate will bring compassion - but also reliability, observation, teamwork, and a willingness to be accountable to residents and coworkers.
If you take pride in providing respectful care and want an opportunity with multiple shifts, meaningful clinical exposure, and room to grow, apply today to join Elderwood at Cheektowaga.
