This training course will begin June 18th. This course runs for 3 weeks and classes are Monday- Friday from 7am-3pm. We will have TABES testing for the class on May 14th and 17th. This is required for entry into the program. Once accepted into the class, the student will need to obtain a physical and PPD by their primary physicsian and submit it no later then 1 week prior to the start of class. The course is free to take but is an unpaid training. At the completion of the course Elderwood will pay for the CNA certification test as well as any applicable onboarding requirements including but not limited to PPD and Physical for eligible candidates who are offered positions with Elderwood.
Nursing Assistant Trainee team members assist with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by participating as a student in a Nursing Assistant 100-Hour Training Program and completing certification within 120 hours of training start date.
1.Eighteen (18) years of age required; high school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of program required entrance testing and application process.
2. No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property through any current or previous licensing agency.
