Our 150-bed skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation community provides specialized care including orthopedic rehabilitation, physical, occupational and speech therapy, wound care, palliative care, respite care, and long-term skilled nursing. As an Activity Leader, you'll play an important role in helping residents stay engaged, connected, and motivated throughout their recovery and everyday lives.
Whether you're leading a group activity, celebrating a milestone, or simply sharing a conversation with a resident, you'll help create meaningful moments that truly matter.

Working alongside our Activities Director and interdisciplinary care team, you'll help create experiences that support both emotional well-being and overall quality of life.

Activity Leader Qualifications:
Minimum 18 yrs. age required, HS diploma or equivalent required.
Valid New York Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
Ability to develop good relationships with staff, volunteers, families and visitors required.
Ability to inspire and motivate others, create a warm and accepting climate for residents and be able to adapt and modify activities to meet their needs required.
Understanding of the rights and needs of residents required.
Physical stamina for constant activity required.
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
