Woodmark Pharmacy of MA is looking for a dependable and responsible Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to make a difference in the lives of our residents in our long term care and assisted living communities. This is a FULL-TIME, on-site position.

Pharmacy Technician Supervisor Position Overview:
The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor functions as a non-clinical employee, with the purpose of assisting the Pharmacists in filling, coordination and distribution of pharmaceuticals by the Woodmark Pharmacy.
1. Able to perform all the job duties of a Pharmacy Filling Technician and fill in as needed.
2. Writes Pharmacy Technicians schedules and assigns work positions.
3. Works with the Operations Manager to hire new staff.
4. Responsible for the training and development program for newly hired Pharmacy Technicians.
5. Supervises work performance of the Pharmacy Technicians.
6. Works on finding replacements for open and called off shifts.
7. Manages the delivery dashboard to ensure timely delivery.
8. Order’s packaging supplies for the Pharmacy.
9. Understands the ordering process with the primary and secondary wholesalers.
10. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures and ability to reference them.
11. Abides by Post-Acute Partners and its affiliate businesses code of conduct.
12. Maintains any required certifications, in-services, and training; remains up to date with best practices and any changes in operation of equipment.
13. Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
14. Utilizes electronic timekeeping system as required.
15. Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.
16. Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including wearing name tag at all times.
17. Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.
18. Supports and abides by Woodmark’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
19. Abides by Woodmark’s businesses code of conduct, compliance, and HIPAA policies.
20. Performs other work duties as requested by the Pharmacists, Operations Manager, and Director.
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum of three (3) years of pharmacy experience required.
· National pharmacy certification required.
· Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office
· Previous supervision experience preferred.
