Pay Rate: $38.00 – $53.50 / hour
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Full-Time

Elderwood at Hornell is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing care during the night shift. This role ensures resident safety and quality care, while supervising nursing personnel and supporting the facility’s operations in collaboration with the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing Services.

About Elderwood at Hornell
Elderwood at Hornell is a 112-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in the Southern Tier of New York State, offering comprehensive rehabilitation programs including orthopedic, cardiac, and post-surgical care, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Respond immediately to residents’ requests
Supervise nursing care services and staff on all units during assigned shift
Promote and actively participate in facility safety programs
May serve as the Infection Preventionist Nurse, as assigned
Assume responsibility for nursing services in the absence of the Assistant Director or Director of Nursing Services
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the night shift team

Required:
Active state license as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with current registration
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year in a nursing leadership role
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Preferred:
Experience or interest in geriatrics
Experience working with dementia patients
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
