The RN Educator plays a vital role in supporting high-quality care by ensuring that all nursing and facility personnel receive the training, education, and support needed to excel in their roles. This position works collaboratively with management and nursing governance teams to plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive orientation, in-service training, and continuing education programs.
Key components of the role include:
Developing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs for staff orientation and ongoing professional development.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements.
Serving as a primary instructor for the Nursing Assistant Training Program, as designated.
Potentially fulfilling responsibilities as the facility’s Infection Preventionist.
On-call and floor rotation are required parts of this role, ensuring ongoing clinical support and alignment with facility needs.
