This dual role combines general maintenance responsibilities with safe resident transportation.
As a Maintenance Assistant/ Transport Driver, you will support building operations by performing repairs, upkeep, and grounds maintenance to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. While also being responsible for safely transporting and assisting residents using company vehicles for admissions, medical appointments, and facility transfers.

Facilities Technician/ Transport Driver Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicle to transport residents between facilities, medical appointments, and admissions.
Load, secure, and assist wheelchair-bound or mobility-limited residents.
Ensure vehicle safety (fuel, tires, cleanliness, inspections) and report maintenance needs.
Comply with traffic laws, company policies, and all applicable state transportation regulations.
Communicate promptly with facilities, families, and staff regarding transport times.
Skills/Competencies
Base wages increase with experience!
Minimum 18 years of age
Minimum one (1) year of related maintenance or carpentry/repair experience
Minimum two (2) years of safe driving experience preferred
Valid driver’s license; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents
Ability to operate small hand/electric tools, lawn care equipment, and snow removal machinery
HS diploma or equivalent preferred
Compassionate, dependable, and respectful attitude toward the elderly
Participation in facility on-call program (may include evenings/weekends)
