    As a key member of our Corporate Human Resources Team you will be responsible for the following activities in support of our various long term care communities throughout Western NY and the North East:

    • Providing leadership/guidance to HR staff at field locations in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, workers’ compensation and training & development.
    • Serving as lead for HR in supporting and developing efficient, standardized departmental processes and procedures; Recommending new approaches/procedures to effect continual improvement of operations performed.
    • Developing HR systems and process manuals to be used as a basis for our field HR staff members.
    • Developing and training our field HR staff members in all HR processes and procedures.
    • Serving as consultant, coach, trainer, mentor and auditor to ensure compliance to state and federal standards.
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners within our corporate offices and satellite locations.
    • Developing and implementing strategic plan/roadmaps for field HR staff to ensure service development and delivery.


    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field (or significant relevant experience), and a minimum of 10 years HR Generalist/HR Management experience required.
    • PHR or SPHR preferred
    • Healthcare experience preferred in both union and non-union environments.
    • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of payroll administration, applicable wage & hour, labor, and employment laws
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
    • Tech savvy, comfortable with various types of software, including mobile devices
    • Excellent organizational/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
    • Proven success in mentoring and developing staff members.
    • Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others toward mutual objectives and able to influence across non-direct reports on cross functional teams
    • Travel: approximately 30%.
