Diet Technician team members assist with ensuring the health and well being for our residents by being responsible for obtaining and recording information pertaining directly or indirectly to the nutritional needs of residents. SHIFTS: 8A-4P 2-3x/wk
Duties include, and not limited to: Assists the Dietician with obtaing current information for the computerized Resident Profile. Conducts intake studies and interviews residents and their family members to find out nutritional needs and food preferences. Attends resident care plan meetings. Assist with charting of weights. Assist with meal planning, preparation and scheduling of resident meals. Monitor residents eating in all areas of the building.
Assosciates or Bachelors degree with a major in nutrition required. High degree of personal cleanliness with good hygiene; status suitable for food service required. Computer skills and ability to work in various software programs preferred.
