RN Unit Manager Responsibilties:
Lead the development and execution of individualized nursing care plans
Coordinate interdisciplinary goals and approaches for resident health
Oversee staffing, performance management, and scheduling of clinical staff
Ensure your unit meets high standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization
Attend required training sessions and meetings
Recognize and encourage staff achievements and engagement
Contribute to ideas that enhance quality of care and operational excellence
RN Unit Manager Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York State (or applicable state of employment)
Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience, with at least one (1) year in a leadership role
Current BLS/CPR certification
Experience or interest in geriatrics preferred
Experience with dementia care is preferred
Demonstrated ability to lead with professionalism, empathy, and collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
