Overview

Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield is seeking a Property Manager to oversee our Senior Living Community. The Property Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of our Senior Living community including staffing, daily operations and management, and services for our residents. At least two years of experience in Independent Living operations required.

Responsibilities

The incumbent of the Independent Living facility is responsible for the staffing, operations, daily management of the facility and daily living services for residents in conformance with state and federal laws.

Qualifications

  • This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
  • High School Diploma Required 
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Independent Living Operations, or comparable experience. 
  • Qualities of leadership, dependability, integrity, and organizational ability necessary. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills. 
  • Demonstrated interest in the field of Independent Living, particularly the needs of the geriatric population necessary. 
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
