We have an immediate need for a Property Manager to join the team at Elderwood Residences at Cheektowaga. 

About Elderwood Residences at Cheektowaga

Centrally located just south of Walden Avenue and convenient to malls, grocery stores, churches and a host of other attractions, Elderwood Residences at Cheektowaga offer a compact and quiet community just off Bennett Road in Cheektowaga, NY. The 35 one- and two-bedroom patio homes for independent adults age 55 and older are an affordable way to downsize and remain in Western New York. Use the private garage or ditch the car and take advantage of transportation services and scheduled outings. Convenient to the Elderwood senior living campus, aging in place is an option here with assisted living and skilled nursing facilities close by.

Responsibilities

  • The daily management and training of all staff;
  • The daily management of services provided and other contract arrangements
  • The provision of services for residents that promote respect for the individual and the protection of basic rights;
  • Maintains a safe, sanitary, and pleasant environment for residents and visitors, and good working conditions for staff;
  • Maintains residence census at capacity through sales marketing plan;
  • Controlling of costs for financial stability;
  • The provision of billing and management information to ElderWood Senior Care (ESC), as requested;
  • The processing of requisitions to obtain the supplies, equipment and services needed for the provision of services, and for administrative functions;
  • Promote and maintain a good reputation in the community with consumers and professionals;
  • Encourage staff involvement, customer focus, leadership initiatives and high standards of performance for all staff.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Minimum of two years experience in Independent Living Operations, or comparable experience.
  • Qualities of leadership, dependability, integrity, and organizational ability necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in the field of Independent Living, particularly the needs of the geriatric population necessary. 
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
