Overview

Exciting Human Resources Assistant Opportunity!!

 

  • Main responsibilities include maintaining personnel records and reports, coordinating clerical personnel functions, and assisting with payroll and payroll related duties.
  • Ability to handle personnel situations with tact.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
  • Personal qualities of trustworthiness and integrity required.
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks to a high degree of excellence required.
  • Ability and desire to work with people; pleasant demeanor and manner in person and on the telephone is necessary.  Maintains highest level of customer service practices.
  • Recognition of the importance of confidentiality regarding staff and resident information is required.

 

Responsibilities

  • Interview prospective staff members for current openings and complete new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain records for annual physical health assessments and TST for all staff members.
  • Initiate probationary and annual evaluation report forms for completion by department heads.
  • Maintain copies of current licenses and registrations for professional personnel and for certified nursing assistants.
  • Order nametags for all staff members
  • Coordinate uniform benefit allowance, and acquire uniforms under the allowance program.
  • Compile new hire paperwork packets
  • Assist Human Resources Coordinator with verification of payroll hours and preparation of payroll processing information.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • Related degree preferred, but not required.
  • Related degree preferred, but not required.
  • Training or experience in personnel process preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to handle personnel situations with tact.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain attention to detail.
