Pharmacy Intern

Pharmacy Intern team members are primarily responsible for receiving and inputting medication orders into computer via fax or phone from facilities under the
supervision of a registered pharmacist.  You will demonstrate a complete working knowledge of the pharmacy software package.  You will print labels and delivery sheets to allow technicians to fill orders.  You will check final prepared medications for accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.  You will provide drug information in an easily understood manner as requested by facility staff.  You will research and clarifiy medication orders that are incomplete or unclear.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program to become a
licensed Pharmacist
• Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by individual
state

8. Knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding.
9. Performs compounding duties as assigned.oviding assistance in filling prescriptions and preparing them for distribution. This role may also assist the pharmacy driving team with delivery of medication within Elderwood facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience as a pharmacy technician, and a clean driving record. Pharmacy Technician certification is a plus!
