Elderwood at Liverpool is searching for skilled & compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to aide our very busy 160-bed Skilled Nursing facility in Liverpool, NY. We are undergoing current construction to update our facility including investing in new state of the art equipment and iPads for our nursing staff!

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties:

LPN team members (Part Time, Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of our residents by providing direct nursing care. Direct nursing care of residents encompasses planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the care of residents to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times.


While this position is specifically for full time evenings we do have other full time, part time, and 12 hour shifts available for the right candidate!


 The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:

  •  Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current New York State license required.
  • Training and work experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and work well with other personnel required.
  • Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing required.
  • Qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with others required.
  • Caring, respectful attitude towards residents required.
  • Physical stamina for constant activity required.
  • Ability to perform tasks to established standards of excellence required.
  • Demonstrated willingness to uphold the vision and mission of the company by following the core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Passion for Excellence and Reverence for the Individual is required.
