Pediatric Specialty Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to float between our Point Pleasant, Doylestown and Quakertown homes. In this full-time role as a Nursing Assistant, you will work three (3), 12-hours shifts (6:45AM-7:15PM). One day would be at the Point Pleasant Campus, one day at our Doylestown group home and the 3rd scheduled day would be at our Quakertown home. Reliable transportation is required, as is availability to work every other weekend.


In the role of a Nurse Assistant or CNA - Ceritifed Nursing Assistant, you will provide our kids with routine daily care and services in accordance with their assessment and care plan and as may be directed by your nursing supervisor in accordance with the requirements of the policies and procedures of this facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility.

Day-to-Day tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist residents with admissions, transfers and discharge functions, such as:
    • Ensuring that resident's room is ready for receiving resident (i.e., bed made, name tags up, ,)
    • Making resident comfortable (i.e., put to bed, etc.)
    • Tracking inventory and marking the personal possessions as instructed
  • Assist with personal nursing care functions as directed, such as:
    • Assist residents with daily dental, mouth and nail care
    • Assist residents with bath functions (i.e., bed bath, tub or shower bath, etc)
    • Maintain intake and output records
  • Assists with special nursing care functions
  • Assists with food services functions, such as:
    • Prepare residents for meals
    • Serve food trays, assist with feeding as indicated
    • Record the residents’ food/fluid intake. Report any changes.
    • Perform after meal care


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation to get to each facility
  • Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience providing direct patient care in long term care or hospital setting
  • Must be a least 21 years of age
  • Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a medical and physical examination
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is strongly preferred
  • Nursing students who have successfully completed their first semester of clinical experiences are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Caring, respectful attitude towards residents required
