Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Technician Duties:  The Technician will be primarily responsible for providing assistance in filling prescriptions and preparing them for distribution. The Technician functions as a non-clinical employee, with the purpose of assisting the Nursing Department in the coordination and distribution of pharmaceuticals dispensed by the Woodmark Pharmacy. The Technician will also be responsible for maintaining medication rooms as well as maintaining supplies on the Rehabilitation Unit.

Qualifications

The Pharmacy Technician Requirements:

  • High School graduate, previous pharmacy experience is strongly preferred.
  • National pharmacy certification preferred
  • Ability to work with residents/family and nursing.
  • Computer experience is desired.
  • Able to use Microsoft office applications.
